Uploading Files

After you've configured the Upload module as described in the previous section, it's ready to use. Create or edit a node that can have attachments, and you will see an extra group of fields titled File Attachments at the bottom of the form.

To attach a file to the node, first locate the file on your local machine by either entering the path in the Attach New File field or by using the Browse button. Once you've selected the desired file, click the Attach button. The file will be uploaded to the server via HTTP and, if successful, you will be shown the same form with the attachment listed in a table, as shown in the example in Figure 3-9. You may repeat this process as often as you like, and thus attach multiple files to one node.
