The default structure isn't very friendly, as you see in Figure 5.31. Day and Name
This option creates a permalink based on a combination of the date of the post and the post title. Suppose that a post called "Wordpress for All launches" was posted August 18, 2008. If you choose the Day and Name option, you get this permalink:
Notice that the title in the link is all lowercase. If I'd used any non-URL-friendly characters such as an apostrophe (') or a percent sign (%) in the title, WordPress would have stripped those characters out so that the link would work in Web browsers.
